Clyde's Armory, anyone buy there, any good?

Has anyone experience buying from these guys. They have some good prices on certain items. Wondering how quick they ship, good people to deal with, etc?? I'm looking to buy a pistol from them.

Yes, I buy quite a bit from them in the way of guns and accessories (they're local). Good folks to deal with. Prices on some items are better than others, tho their SIG prices are almost impossible to beat in the N. Ga. area.

BTW, it's just "Clyde" Armory (the owner's last name), rather than "Clyde's", tho the latter does roll off the tongue a bit more naturally.

Used to live 4 blocks from 'em. Nice place, clean shop with lots of neat guns. As the website name implies, they focus exclusively on a police & defense theme (as opposed to Franklin's just up the street, all hunting). Includes a good complement of NFA stuff.

Service is prompt and courteous.

I recently picked up a limited-run 11.5" Colt AR15 (6933) and a case of .308 there.

They stock a little bit more in the way of sporting arms these days than they used to. Lots of folks went in to Clyde for the 1st time this past fall after Franklin's lost their FFL, and they added some guns in response to the demand - j frames, the little NAA revos, a few less expensive centerfire semis, some .22's etc. Still not the place for hunting arms, tho.

Just a follow up on the Clyde Armory post. I ordered a gun from Clyde on monday. Faxed the transfer and paid by credit card. HKs were on sale...GREAT! My new P2000SK arrived yesterday (thursday) at my local FFL and I picked it up today (friday). Very easy transaction, very professional, very polite, fast shipping and good prices...I'm very impressed.

This gun in regular form, normal sights w/ two mags, is $850 or more in N. Virginia shops. The gun fom Clyde arrived with three mags and tru glo night sights at $683 plus $20 shipping and $21 credit card fee (3%). I'm happy.
