Anyone could recommend the most reliable rimfire ammo to go with this kit?

Just got a brick of the CCI Blazer (Lead Round Nose) to play around;

Am i going to have issues with them?

Thanks in advance guys!!

High Velocity ammo works best.....most people prefer Federal Bulk Pack and Winchester 333/555.

I haven't gotten great accuracy with my CMMG upper and Federal bulk pack or American Eagle branded bulk pack.

My TS .22 upper feeds the Wally world Fed bulk stuff great, but accuracy is poor. It feeds the Fed AutoMatch stuff great, and it is four times more accurate in my TS upper, my Buckmark, and my S&W M-41, albeit a little more money.

Ditto on everything. CCI Blazer most accurate. It's not going to be a CZ or Savage as far as accuracy.

I also shoot tracers from mine all the time.

Are yall talking conversion bolt kits or uppers? I am just about the order a CMMG upper, M4LEP. What king of accuracy are you talking about?

I had a CMMG bolt conversion kit. It was parked not stainless. It was garbage. It would not eject any type of ammo; cci, fed, rem, etc. It never ran good. 1 out of 3 would stove pipe. I understand the stainless kits rarely have this issue.

The upper will have as much stainless at CMMG can put in it.

I have both. 10k rounds thru the CMMG stainless conversion kit.

Its has been perfectly reliable. No issues other than dud rounds.

It shoots best thru a 1-12 upper, by far. As the twist rate goes up the accuracy goes down.

I have tried it with 1-7 uppers <terrible accuracy>, 1-9 <slightly better but not by much>, and 1-12 uppers <about the same as a stock 10/22>.

CMMG SST Bolt Conversion in a 1:7 PSA Dissipator. Surprisingly accurate; used mostly for offhand plinking steel at 100 yards (8"x8" or so and I only miss when I screw up).

Winchester 555 (36gr HP) and Federal Bulk (36gr HP) from Wal-Mart have been super reliable; Clean once a box, a few duds here and there (no light primer strikes), and maybe 3 stovepipe FTF toward the end of the box with a dirty extractor. I have and will only shoot plated stuff through it.

I am pretty happy.

My stainless CMMG seems to run with everything I try, even sub-sonics. Very accurate in my S&W 15T (1/9). Currently, I've shot hundreds of Win Dynapoints, with 99.9 % reliability.
