CMP South still has some field grade Danish Garands in the store, as I mentioned in another thread, for those who can get to Anniston. Also had some H&Rs and IHCs in the store, along with Greek and Danish rack grades.
My general take on things is that the Danish field grades looked a little nicer overall than the Greek field grades they had the first time I was there. Nice enough that I ended up walking out of the store with a second Garand -- pre-WW2 production Springfield (s/n in the 70,000s) with a great condition 1957 VAR barrel . . . how do you walk away from something like that?
