Well, just too late to publish on time, but these ladies just aren't up to snuff any longer .... FWIW
You still have time to get there to testify - as if it would matter for the stated agenda.
"Sorry for the short notice. I just learned of a hearing at 1:30 TODAY (Thursday) on a Colorado Senate Resolution designating a Firearms Violence Prevention and Awareness Day. Please attend if you can. A note from Tom Mauser follows, with text of the resolution.

My friends with an interest in gun violence prevention:
I'm writing to inform you that a friendly Senate Resolution (not a bill) is coming up for a hearing in committee TODAY (Thursday, April 22). The resolution (SR04-008) is sponsored by our friend State Senator Ken Gordon. The resolution designates a Firearms Violence Prevention and Awareness Day. The resolution was referred to the Senate Agriculture Committee (yes, Agriculture!). Sure, it was no doubt sent there for a quick death, but nonetheless we are given an opportunity to call attention to the problem of gun violence and publicize the shameful numbers (e.g., Colorado has lost 2,270 lives to gunshots since Columbine, as well as having 1,173 firearms injuries).
The hearing will be held at 1:30 in Room 353. Sorry I couldn't tell you in advance--I just found out today. Please join us and show your support for Senator Gordon's resolution if you can. A copy of the resolution is below.
Thanks,
Tom Mauser
