Can someone value this Colt Cobra for me? 100_1399.jpg

Its in good condition, it has a scratch on the lower right side of the grip. There are no thin spots in the blueing. I may need to sell something and I'm unsure of the value of this gun and don't want to get taken if I sell it. It's been in the family since new, I didn't buy it, it was gifted to me.

I paid $500 for one just like it. Did I pay too much? I don't think so.

The trigger is as smooth as greased goose squeeze...the weight makes follow up shots a cinch and it is a constant companion. (on the desk as I write this)

Hard to go wrong with the best.

Thanks guys, this helps if I decide to let this one go. I haven't decided yet and since they are out of production it would just be luck to see one in a gun shop to use for comparison.

I agree with the other posters...$450-$525. I've seen them listed for a bit more lately...but I would stay within that range.

Here are a coulpe 1975 Cobras

I jumped on a %93.7689 Cobra nickel today. 3rd gen. 2" $375. I'm really strapped for cash but for that price I couldn't pass it up.
