Does anyone have a good close photo of how the sear/firing pin safety spring goes in the above pistol? It's a flat two legged guy with an extension to the left side of the left leg.
Nothing I have shows me where the spring end(s) ride and there's a couple of possibilities. The spring I found in the pistol is bent and looks like it might have been homemade - the pistol worked, kinda', but made a grinding kind of noise when the slide was racked and the safety could only be put in the 'on' position when the hammer was down.
I got a new spring but don't want to tweak it up by getting it into the pistol wrong.
