I am trying to get a value on a colt anaconda 44 mag. it is in excellent condition in the box, but has had about 100 load shot with it. can anyone help me out with this?

I rarely see them below 800. A 1000 seems to be about the norm. 1200 not uncommon.

Lot's offered 1500 and above but unless it is a special collector edition I doubt many get those prices.

hunter models with scope rings and factory ports command a premium.

+1 with guillermo
I have a 6" 45 colt anaconda that I literally stole from a buddy for 300. 98% condition with +/- 50 rounds through it and the stainless is perfect, and he wouldnt take a penny more. One of the "i need the money now but if you ever get rid of it I want it back" deals. Ive had offers up to 1850 for it but it aint leavin my hands. When I got it, went to looking into currents on anacondas. The 45s are worth more than 44s, but due to the increasing rarity of good condition anacondas, the 44s are catching up quick. Recently seen 1k to 1400 for good ones, and its steady goin up. Hope this gives ya an idea. :)

I had a dear friend that knew he was dying and he gave me a pristine Anaconda. One morning at breakfast he told me he had something in the SUV for me and it was the Anaconda. I had no idea they were worth as much as they are. I think it is a nice gun and I'll never part with it but I'd rather shoot my Dan Wesson so I let my wife think the Colt is hers.

the 45 LC commands a premium over the 44 magnum

I just went to GunBroker and looked at closed auctions (last 60 days)

one did not sell with a 900 "no reserve" start price

another sold for 931

another sold for 800 w a scope mount

a 930 sold

a 935 sold

The bottom line is that you can get a nice constrictor for a grand if you shop

I couldnt sell it for any dollar amount. Even paying 300, it was more or less a gift, much like k4swb, from a old friend that was a mentor. He taught me reloading, all about the 1911, and more history on ww2 arms and colectables than any book could ever teach me. Between doctor bills and diabetes, hes fighting a losing battle. Hes "selling" me most of his collection, which includes a 4" python royal blue, and a union 1911a1 amongst others. None will ever be sold, I just couldnt do it. Happy shooting.

colt anaconda 44 mag.

this colt anaconda has a 6" barrel, I have thee bos and it is in excellent condition. I am thinking of saleing it so I am just checking on wat it is valued at.

Hello friends and neighbors // Around here in the $1200 dollar range, if you can find them.

I follow them and the Pythons on GB and the starting price is usually around $1100, most have Zero bids though.

As Guillermo pointed out the bargins do come up and GB is a constant source.

As far as shooters go, how durable are the Anacondas and do they have decent triggers? Or are they more of a collectible than a shooter??

They are stout guns. The triggers are comparable to the King Cobra, Trooper MK III and V....basically pretty darn good.
