Does anyone know anything about a Colt Army Special double action revolver chambered in 41 Colt? I have one in decent condition, and am curious as to what it is worth. I can't find one just like it anywhere. I can find 38's but have yet to come across one in 41. Just thought I would ask.

Colt made a number of double-action .41 revolvers, starting in 1877. In 1888 they introduced a hand ejector (swing out cylinder style). The Army Special came along in 1908 and continued until about 1927.

Army Special revolvers in .41 Long Colt have little or no interest to shooters. Collectors are generally interested in examples in excellent or higher condition and nothing else. Prices in the upper grades seem to run between $300 to $500.

The Army Special was early in a long line of revolvers made based on that .41 cal. frame. This includes the Official Police, Officers Model, and Python.
