There's 1 or 2 very tiny specks of rust on the whole gun, is there any way to remove them without hurting the blueing? I've gone over it with a magnifying glass and for what looks like a 30 year old gun it's mint.

HD George-nice find on the Colt. The best you can use for any surface rust, that will NOT hurt your Bluing is Flitz polish. Most gun shops have it, or go on-line+ find out more. I have used it for years, and can say it is good stuff.

Flitz is awesome stuff. I don't know why I've never used it for that. It has to be better than 0000 steel wool.HD George-nice find on the Colt.
