I was in my LGS the other day and he had one in the case. I made the mistake of asking to handle it. Needless to say i brought her home with me. What's not to like about 9mm 1911 for range duty. I have about 400 rounds through her with no issues. I did tune the extractor just a hair. Trigger out of the box is 5 lbs with a crisp break. Comes with a national match barrel. Accurate as can be with range fodder. The fit is tight and the finish is nice as well. Colt/CZ did well on this one as she is a keeper. Now he has one in .45 that is blued. I may have to pick that one up as well...

Fabulous. I’m rekindling my love for 1911s and I’m going to buy the next new Colt I see in the display case. Colt is turning out some exceptional revolvers and autos these days.

I have the .45 version; swapped a Government Model on it, and they are a honey. Mine is pre-CZ, and is really well done.
Can't speak for the 9, but the .45 has double recoil springs that really tame the perceived recoil.
