I just bought a used Colt Official Police 38 special.
I removed the walnut grips with the silver Colt emblems on them.
On the back of the grips someone has numbered them "160" in white.
They are also stamped into the wood "SILE" with lines thru the stamping.
Did someone make grips for Colt? Replacements ?
Any help would be appreciated.
The revolver is dated at 1953..............my date of manufacture as well.
