Colt Magnum Carry Serial Number 1

Just wondering how I can find a list of Colt Magnum Carry serial numbers. Then I would know if my gun is #1 or #2 Or #3! Of the regular series, Not the 1st Edition series. serial is SY100X! I see that Colt started many of its later model guns at serial XX1001. So maybe they did the Mag Carry's the same way.
I did call Colt. They said my gun was made in June 1998. They said they do not have a list of the serial numbers. I Do Not think a Colt letter would help. If they don't know their own serial starting number, how would a letter help? It will just have a ship date. Help if you can, thanks! Chris

Thanks, but I already tried them, they don't cover the Magnum Carry Model.

Only Colt is going to be of any help. The Magnum Carry serial number ranges have never been released to the public so only Colt has them.

Colt should be able to tell you at what number the Magnum Carry serials started at. I'd try another call and ask at what number the series started at.

Well, my friend has a Mag Carry with serial SY05xx so that blows my theory, I would think. Comments on that new info?

Colt also started some ranges at 0101 with letter prefixes.

Again, only Colt knows and they've never released the later numbers to the public.
