I’m not going to say how much until I lock it down tomorrow! lolAll I can say is wow, thats pretty and somewhere north of $3G.
they got me on speed dial… So, technically noBack at the gun counter....and not at the range
Maybe not THE most desirable variant, but the condition and box will still make Colt collectors all warm and fuzzy for it. It also has appeal to shooters since the cartridge is relatively cheap and available- unlike an example in, say .38-40.I’m not going to say how much until I lock it down tomorrow! lol
You known it the 3rd Generation, adjustable sights version. I think Colt collectors hate it
Bottom of the Heap! that’s sad! wish I knew more about Colt SAA and there step childrenNew frontiers are bottom of the heap for Colt single actions when it come to collector interest. I wouldn’t be surprised to see it under $2000. My local Scheels had a barely used .44 Special with box and everything at $1500 recently. I might have picked it up if I hadn’t won an auction for a S&W 25-5 and 19-4 earlier that day. I went back a week later and it was gone.
meh. It is what it is.Bottom of the Heap! that’s sad!
appreciate your sad bubble burst! Going to watch some Clint Eastwood movies to drown my gun sorrowsmeh. It is what it is.
One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. If every Colt firearm out there cost $3,000 I wouldn’t own any of them. I prefer the under appreciated quality guns.
you think it will ever collectable? more I look into a 3rd Gen, more I don’t like it especially late productionGen 3 usually go around 1700$ new in box or used in like new condiction. The box with a gen 3 is not worth an upcharge IMO.
The target sites are a nice feature on the 357 as 38 can be used and the sites can be moved for the offset in impact. Also they are a good fit on the long barreled mdl but not so much on a 4.75 or 5.5 version that may be used by quick draw shooters.
That would be a nice addition for any target shooter but demand is not as high or price as high as the wax bullet shooters will put down for an actual colt. They prefer a tuned 4.75".
they want $2,000 for it… way too much. After a RIA and GB search… $1700 is a the proper unfired price! As as a self avowed Colt hater in general, I will hate it for you.
But don't let me stop you from enjoy your new gun if you do buy it. Let the haters hate.
I vote for three Smiths. Much better revolvers!they want $2,000 for it… way too much. After a RIA and GB search… $1700 is a the proper unfired price!
Or get 3 Smiths from my other honey Hole!
my dealer let me handle his Registered Magnum … did even try to insult him with a offer to buyI vote for three Smiths. Much better revolvers!
