I just got a Colt Pony Pocketlite from my brother-in-law. It's had a trigger job and new Novak sights, it's very nice. But he only had one magazine. Can you tell me a good source? Also, there seem to be several varieties of Colt 380 magazine. How do I tell one from another except to try them in the gun? I thought I found a second but it's too long (a 7 rounder?) and it gets stuck.
Thanks, Vern

ditto the online gun auctions. I've also had good luck poking through the misc. mag boxes in gun shops and dealer tables at gun shows.

With the Colt factory mags the SA Mustang baseplate has an "M" on it, The Pony's IIRC have a "P". For some reason I think I bought a Pony mag by mistake long ago and it wouldn't function right, too tall. But I might could be mis-remembering.

I bought my spare magazine as a new-in-the-original-package Colt made by Metalform off of eBay for $16....$18 or $19 shipped. When buying magazines off of eBay, especially "original" Colt mags, I demand that they are in the original, unopened packaging. I've been burned on some "Colt" mags off of eBay in the past. They were el cheapo import 1911 mags, though.
