T692xx was made after 1985, and there are no publicly available Colt serial numbers after that.
The last T series numbers available started at T34453 in 1985.
To get a production date, call Colt.
They will give you the date over the phone, but NO other info.
I think Colt started using orange front sights in the mid-1980's on the first stainless steel guns.
