colt serial number?

Hi I am buying a colt Natinal Match Series 70 Gold Cup. Brand New condition fired about 50 times judging by the barrel wear. The serial number is
70n31740
Where can I found out what year it was made and what the value is?

Call Colt, they will tell you the year made but nothing else.
If you want more information, which would not amount to much on a gun that recent, just when and where shipped, you have to pay for a Factory Letter.
