Colt sight adjustment tool

How rare are the sight adjustment tools that Colt used to ship with their revolvers? It is a round medallion with the horse logo and blued. Three seperate screwdriver heads around the rim.
If there is some rust, what is the best way to remove it and preserve it?

They are not rare. Not to long ago one of the mail order catalog companies had them for sale. To remove rust just use oil and steel wool.

Be sure to use the 0000 steel wool or even 00000 0. Do not want to use heavy gread grade. Very Very fine if you are trying to leave the bluing intact....4 to 6 - 0
