i just got a comp-tac ctac iwb holster for my XD-45, i was wondering which position of the two clips you use and exactly which position you carry it in?

i remember finding a website with pictures of a guy flipping over the leather parts for more flexibility, does anyone have that link?

I have the exact same one, and I wear it at about 4:30-5:00. I use the bottom hole on the front clip and the top hole on the rear clip, which sets the holster at the forward-most cant angle. I find this very comfortable when standing, but I have not tried sitting for long periods of time with it in this position.

I have mine adjusted exactly the same way, however I cut the bottom part off of the rear clip so that it doesn't poke me in the "cheek" whilst I'm stitting, driving, etc. Further, I removed the rubber bit between the leather and the clip. I replaced it with a single washer which reduced the bulk. Finally I've found the leather tab on the rear side wrinkles up again causing discomfort. The fix there was to take a blister pack clear plastic package, trim it to the same size as the leather tab, drill three holes to match the holes in the leather. Once the plastic piece was laid alongside the leather and the whole thing was put back together it's been the absolute most comfortable and easily concealable holster I've ever encountered.

One final note, I originally bought it with the super concealment clips that're supposed to hide better. I found that when my belt loops on my pants broke as a result, the holster then slumped down against the waistband causing obvious problems. I ordered the plain old holster clips, took one and cut the entire bottom half off of it so that it's basically just a hook. After a little filing it now rests on top of my belt, not my pants thus solving the problem entirely. I installed the hook one on the rear side and left the concealment one on the front because carry at 3o'clock keeps it stationary in the front.
