Competition Jerseys

Gonna be shooting my first state match, but was wondering about the jerseys. Does the match provide you with one as part of the fee? do they sell them there for those interested? or does one have to get them online? thanks

There are generally match T shirts they give away or one can buy.

I have seen it both ways, match shirt (or cap) included with entry fee or available for purchase.

Now those slick tight "wicking" shirts with all the sponsors' logos are quite expensive, you have to pay to do their advertising unless you are good enough that they are YOUR sponsor.

Usually if a shirt is included with the match they’ll ask your size at registration, E.g., Sheepdog IDPA in Valdosta.

Sometimes there will be an online purchase option, usually very expensive. And sometimes there will be a t-shirt vendor at the range with less expensive, usually cotton, options. And at some matches, nada.

The best one I had was from IRC which listed all the competitors of the back.

Are you asking about swag shirts which commemorate the match, or asking about jerseys which denote a shooter’s sponsors to be recognized for advertising by the shooter during the match?

Most of the level 2 or higher matches I've been to either include them in the match fee or offer them for sale, presale. Not at the match. Unless they have extras. They aren't priced as expensively as when you order one direct from the manufacturer because they're making a bunch of them. A lot of shooters will where them at the match. I'm "husky" and prefer the way a normal t shirt fits. The lighter wicking match shirts aren't long enough for me to tuck in.

Our desert motorcycle racing club has polyester pit shirts made for club members. They run about $85 bucks apiece. We buy from Hot Shoppe Designs, they do the printing layout and we supply graphics files for the club and sponsors logo’s.

Some companies will sell shirts like the ones their pros use, but personalized ones look really sharp.
