Complete Metal Jacket?

Been looking at the Montana Gold Bullet site and see they have Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) and Complete Metal Jacket (CMJ).

The Complete Metal Jacket is a couple of dollars higher than the Full Metal Jacket, but I'm not sure what a Complete Metal Jacket bullet is.

Does anyone know?

I figure a Complete Metal Jacket is like a Hornady Encapsulated with a jacket metal disk inserted into the base of the bullet so there is no lead exposed. Might be worth the $2 for an indoor range, but not otherwise in my book.

But if you want to know for sure, ask them.

As JW said, it is exactly the same principle as Hornady's "encapsulated"...sort of a gas check is placed over the base of the bullet so when the jacket gilding is formed over the bullet, there is no exposed lead. They are very nice but so close to the price of their JHP line I switched to them for a little edge on groups.

Other companies list them as TMJ (Total Metal Jacket) like Speer.

Speer TMJ are made differently.

They have a plated jacket like the Gold-Dot, only minus the HP cavity punched in the nose.
