Already in one of the counties with the "New Computer Voting Machines" everything is down.... they are telling voters to come back later when the machines are back up..... LEXINGTON COUNTY

Another polling place got the wrong ballets.... so the are behind as well.... I could not even get into the parking lot at my place.... guess I'll go after work.

I got to the polls in Lexington County at about 9. I got through the line, voted, and was out by 10. I did hear, though, that they had some trouble early on and didn't get stated till 7:40.

I don't know. None of the nice old people working the polls could tell me anything about the machines. I know there is no paper trail, though, at least none for the person casting the vote. I haven't really decided what to make of the whole thing yet. I didn't see any ports on the outside of the machines, I hope that doesn't mean they use wireless to upload the votes at the end of the day.

Jim's right.

The Ivotronic.

Jim,

Is there a datalogger in the machine that records all actions and modem queries? Doesn't seem to secure if not.

To heck with the hassle, voted by absentee ballot.

A lady on the news today said she didn't receive her absentee ballot so she went to the polls to vote and they told her she had already voted by absentee ballot.
