Concealment tips for a slightly larger gun (to me at least)

I use a thin kydex IWB holster...much thinner profile, and the IWB holster keeps the pistol snugger against my back, making it far less likely to print.

Also, I try to wear a thicker shirt. The stiffer the fabric, the less likely it is to print. I don't mean thick like a sweatshirt, just heavier fabric, like denim, or whatnot.

IWB worked for me, large revolver

I recently carried a S&W 686p in a Tucker gunleather IWB, and it tucked away just fine. For me the trick was a Duluth Trading undershirt, so it didn't rub my skin, and a shirt on top of that (in my case a Duluth Trading performance longtail T, untucked.

I have a firm, muscular, stomach, but I like to leave it very "relaxed" during the week. :D

I often carry my M&P9c (6.7" L x 4.3" H x 1.2" W) IWB in either a Desanti Tuck-This or a C-TAC. I find the Desanti much more comfortable. Other times I have my PM9 (5 3/8" x 4" x 7/8") in a (no giggling  ) Uncle Mike's Inside-the-Pant Holster. It is like a "rent a holster for $17 per year". I hardly realize I have it on.

A good cant keeps the grip tight to my side, and that's what I find to be the biggest thing to print.

In S. Fla, Tee shirt, straight tailed short sleeve print...no problemo!

I'm 5'11" and 150#, I always carry a Browning Hi-Power as my CCW with no problem at all, additionally I carry two extra mags and a flashlight too.

Also, get a good belt.
I just spent $20 on a good stiff one at a local gunshop. It is an every day belt but it works great with a holster on it because its stout enough to hold the gun up and close.

carry a 4" XD.45 in a belly band type at about 5o'clock in just my shorts and a t-shirt all the time.

I carry a fullsize M&P 9mm in a Blackhawk CQC OWB holster.

I typically wear cheap t-shirts to work and with the shirt un-tucked, it is enough to conceal the gun easily. I typically wear my shirts one size larger then I need for the comfort factor anyway and if I'm careful I can sit down or reach my arms a bit as well without showing. For the record I'm a big guy too. 6'0" 235lbs.

I got a IWB from mike's for $10, does a good job with my 1911 and XD 4" 9mm. I put it in front, in the pit between leg and wedding tackle. Works sitting down without issue, just as long as I dress left and the holster is right.
