I am looking at them due to their clean nature. Their website is rather small and it’s hard to find much info on them or people who use them. The rifle is going to be my small ring Mauser. The scope is a Leupold VX 2 1-4 that is gloss to match the bluing on the gun.

has anyone messed with their mounts and rings?

the gun in question for them to be installed on.

Not a chance they’d get my money with that design.
but they soooooo pretty!

I likey the looks of Talleys rings and basses also......theres another company ive looked at that makes really smooth looking rings but i cant remember who ATM

I used them years ago, they looked really slick. If I remember, they did the job, but were tedious to adjust. Didn't bother again.

They're wonderful, Stronger than they might look, and a very clean look. They are slightly more fiddly to install, but so what? I'm currently down to two rifle that use them, because I'm trying to downsize everything.. Another plus is they fit a staggering number of rifles.

S&K Scope Mounts is another system like the one you are describing. I’ve bought from them before and they are a good company.

I have no experience with Conetrol but I've always liked the looks of the older Redfield rings with the bottom screws. Kind of slow to tighten down buy hey, its mostly a one time thing! I have these on a few rifles.

I have used Conetrol rings and bases exclusively on my Weatherby 240 WBY MAG, 270 WBY MAG Ultralight and 30-378. The 30-378 has g=had more than 400 rounds fired through it, has been on 30 flights, knock over on the ground and I have never had to make a zero adjustment since installed more than 10 years ago. They are not that bad to install and very sturdy mounts plus very clean look. The over hang you see at the chamber actually sits snuggly down in the chamber to reduce strain on the mounting screws.

Always thought they were pretty and clean designs. The Germans had something similar, but you had to remove the objective, slip the tube into the ring and then reattach the objective after it was mounted.
