I always drive out I90 toward the pass and shoot on Federal Forest Service Land. It is rural King county. I hear today in the Fall City gun store that shooters are having their guns confiscated for discharging firearms there.
Anybody else have insight into this power play by the People's Republic of King County??

Hmmm... Most forestry service land has little plastic "no shooting" poles about every 100 yards or so... IF this is the case there, are you complaining about people's guns being confiscated for breaking the law?

My understanding is that anybody discharging a firearm out there woiuld have it confiscated, no matter where.
I'm going to try and run down a KC Sheriff tomorrow and ask some questions. (No pun intended.)

In WA, there are no restrictions on shooting on Forest Service land, except in special circumstances (inside a campground, and the like.)

We can't just take hearsay and assume it's fact. We need more information.
