"Conquest" show on SWAT teams...

History Channel just had a pretty decent episode of "Conquest" about what it takes to be on a SWAT team. Seemed pretty informative and didn't have any obvious factual gaffes.

Neat line: "Your front sight is like your third eye."

I saw it back in May. I immediately went to the History Channel website to see when it would reair. I didn't see it again until today. Luckily, I had a tape in the VCR.

I wish I had known! I saw it the first time around and thoroughly enjoyed it. This is the first episode I found truly entertaining and educational....from a real-world perspective. I doubt I'll every need to swashbuckle or joust, but those are fun episodes, too.

What's the big deal? I can clear a room by myself with ease, especially after eating mexican. But, of course, I only use my powers for good.

Chemical weapons? Yes. Irritant gases? No. And according to my parents, I was definitely an irritant. I had a habit of waiting until we were all in the truck on our way somewhere on a morning when it was too cold to roll down the windows and then "fired for effect."
