In the course of a week I, somehow, convinced him to come to a hunters education class, get a hunting license and go shooting with us today. He always so against coming with us and then one day I started talking to him about hunting and it was all down hill from there. Chock one up :)

Once he got over his initial fear of the mighty .22LR, he was off. Even started asking me how much my .22LR rig costs. ;)

I don't consider em "converted" until they've bought a gun. I say that because people are all talk these days.

What's the update on the 67a?

I shot it yesterday and the JB Weld started to break down after a while. I'm gonna find a welder who will just add some metal and i'll sand it down.

What are you guys going hunting for & what will he be shooting?

We're gonna go hog hunting in northern Arkansas. He'll probably have my AK.

I recently converted a "unknown scared of" kind of shooter. We met at my house and went through all of the features and safety and went to the range right afterwords. He shot everything I had from my buckmark .22 to my .454 casual ruger. Loved every minute of it!

His only question and concern: "Can I get a holster made by Coach?"

Now all I have to do is get his partner to go shooting so he will be less intimidated. One anti at a time! Spread the word.
