In the course of a week I, somehow, convinced him to come to a hunters education class, get a hunting license and go shooting with us today. He always so against coming with us and then one day I started talking to him about hunting and it was all down hill from there. Chock one up

Once he got over his initial fear of the mighty .22LR, he was off. Even started asking me how much my .22LR rig costs.

I shot it yesterday and the JB Weld started to break down after a while. I'm gonna find a welder who will just add some metal and i'll sand it down.

We're gonna go hog hunting in northern Arkansas. He'll probably have my AK.

I recently converted a "unknown scared of" kind of shooter. We met at my house and went through all of the features and safety and went to the range right afterwords. He shot everything I had from my buckmark .22 to my .454 casual ruger. Loved every minute of it!

His only question and concern: "Can I get a holster made by Coach?"

Now all I have to do is get his partner to go shooting so he will be less intimidated. One anti at a time! Spread the word.
