The problem you will incur with most LC brass in 308 is that it was fired in a sloppy chambered MG, ie M60 or M240. So, you will almost always have to use a small base sizer die for the first resizing. And, the brass probably will have short case life. Now, if you could score some M118LR brass shot in bolt gun or perhand precision M1A or M14 then you would have a primo lot of brass to work with.
Brass has gone up! You are at the mercy of the market!
