Cost to have 1911 Bobtailed

How much would this typicaly run? I am in South Texas if anyone has knowledge of smiths in the area that do it.
 
"...bobtail..."As in shortening the hammer spur? You could do it yourself. Doesn't need much removed from the spur to stop it biting you. 1/8" will do it. Or have a 'Commander' style hammer installed or hold the pistol a bit lower or have a 'beavertail' grip safety installed.
 
Sorry, I meant bobtail the gip/frame. I believe this would mean a different mainspring as well.
 
I think most guys get about $90 for the labor. The bobtailed housings are about $60-$85 depending on the texturing.
