Just today, I listened to Country-W star George Jones and his song "If Drinking Don't Kill Me." And then there is "I'm Sure Gonna Miss Her!" for the fisherman. And so...

Lots of humor and pathos in that.

Now, I'm wondering when one of them will issue a song in honor of the "Bible Loving -Gun Grabbing" culture of my neck of the woods?

Too bad Johnny Cash is gone; I know he would.

Such a lonely thread, I thought I would respond even though most here might not appreciate the country music genre, the political aspect of the thread, and/or the "boringness" of this not being a caliber war or what not.

I find the topic to be incredible unique. But considering that the President-elect has not done anything yet, I would say that there is no reason to sing the blues yet; therefore, there are no mamma, train, dog, rain, pick-up, jail, girlfriend leaving me, gubmint took my guns and bible away from me songs currently out there for our ears.

Not to say that in the near future that might change, but as for now it appears that the staus quo will hold sway.

Didn't know that Western PA was a gun grabbing part of the state. That is generally restricted to Harrisburg East.
