I guess I'm just rambling out loud, because I usually regret it when I get rid of a gun... I've sold all but two of my Beretta 92s, because I've lost interest in the Berettas. I'm not saying it's a bad gun, just not really my kind of gun (there are things I don't like about them).

Well, I have a 92G Elite-I and a 92G Elite-II left, that I thought I would keep, since they are "G" models. As it turns out, I don't even have an interest in really firing them (I've never shot these two, anyway) and I'm looking at wanting some other items... The dealer I bought these from told me they could probably sell them pretty quick on consignment, since they've had a hard time getting Berettas for a while (I don't know if that's true or not, since I don't ever shop for Berettas. Now, Beretta shotguns are a different story...).

I don't guess I can really be helped with my decision - I know this sounds like crazy rambling, but I'm afraid I'll regret it the next day if I sold these. I've never carried a 92, because of the size and I don't really carry 9mm much, anymore, but these are nice looking guns, etc. It doesn't help that I bought a bunch of 15 and 20 round Beretta mags at exhorbitant prices during the ban and would now take a bath if I sold them. (Same problem with some Walther P99 mags. I'm sure a lot of people have lost a lot of money on prices they paid on hi-cap mags during the ban.)

I need my head examined... Maybe I should take up fishing...

I'm of the mind that if you don't like a gun, you should sell it. Spread the wealth a little - the more guns that are out there, the safer you are. :)

Yeah, you should probably sell the Elites. I know a place that is perfect for them. Just send them to me and they will find a loving home.:D

Seriously, if either of the Elites have SS slides and nite sights, I would love to talk. Send me a PM if you would consider a trade. I have a Beretta 92fs Police Special and it one of the smoothest and nicest autos I own.

BTW, I didn't mean that I wanted to trade my Beretta for yours. I have other guns I would trade, not Beretta. Beretta are for buying and keeping, not trading.;)

I have been thinking the same about my Kahr K40 Covert. It's been a while since I fired it, the polygonal barrel precludes using my lead reloads, I don't need it for concealed carry anymore since the Para Carry model is 45 ACP, more rounds, just a bit heavier, but more comfortable to carry.

I haven't decided to sell them, yet. I'm afraid I would regret it (although I have no regrets about selling all the other Berettas...).

I've only regretted selling a couple of guns & those were out of necessity so take w/ this a grain of salt...if the guns have never been shooters & there are traits you already don't like, sell'em & don't look back! :D

Don't have an Elite IA - I sold that one for $28 a couple of weeks ago...

Just kidding. I only have the regular Elites.

Steve
