Six Washington youths (well, one was in his 30s), all former clientele of the WA DOC, arrested for a string of daytime Seattle home invasions. The ski masks were apparently of little value, ultimately.

The guns -- I'll hazard a guess they were all stolen, the suspects don't look like guys who buy 1911s and put aftermarket Goodyears on them, polymer 80 baby Glock (with a 19X mag), old Baby Browning copy (I think that's what one is), a Wrangler (or Heritage Rough rider?), the obligatory Taurus and a Kahr...

As a group, these guys weren't seemingly armed with what we'd consider overwhelming firepower.

Any expert identification of this one? Doesn't have the draw bar under the grip on right side, so not an FN "Baby Browning," thought at first an Astra, Bayard or Bauer, but I dunno... SPD needs to take better photos.

Maybe they were not armed with the latest and greatest military grade weaponry

but any of those pistols will kill a soft shell target sitting on a coach.

I beleave the one your askin about id on is a lorcin. One of first pistols i had was a lorcin 380 what a heavy piece of junk. You might get 2 bullets to go in a similar pattern then next round might fly off a foot away from last shot. I had it for 2 weeks then traded it away as quick as i found someone who was willing to take it.

If I had to guess they stole most of those guns in home invasions. Definitely the rough rider and 1911. I bet they bought the Taurus and maybe one of the Glocks and stole the rest. Hell I bet they are all stolen guns.

They have old Federal red box, maybe Hi-Speed ammo. It looks like it says .38 Special but I can't really tell.

If it's the same group of 'yoots' I was reading about recently; they tended to target homeowners of Asian descent.
That'd be correct; I guess the prosecutor(s) is looking at adding hate crime charges to the myriad of other charges. One of the micreants ran up and used a hand-held stun gun on a resident at his front door.

In a place that has taken nearly every possible step to eliminate Second Amendment rights, any of those would be enough.

They wouldn’t fare as well around here…

I couldn't figure it out It definitely looked to be an older pistol, not a worn pot-metal chromed finish SNS like a Davis/Jennings/Bryco/Lorcin.

I couldn't quite make out the writing on the grip from that pic, but I recognized the big circular logo. They are often called CZ pistols, but Franz Dusek was a separate producer in a separate city.
If any of you Bohunks can tolerate this guy's Southern accent decimating the Czech language, he does have a good YT Video on the DUO and the CZ 45 .25ACP (6.35mm) pistols.

Doh. I shoulda guessed w the circle, but i thought it was where an insert of some sort would go. I guess trifocals are next :(

There's a crime stat to the effect that crime guns go through 7 or 8 sets of hands before they are recovered. How long has some of that armory been in circulation?
That's the ignored aspect of gun control; there is a vast reservoir of guns out there, many (most?) well out of any reasonable chain of custody.
The gun grabbers have to be vaguely aware of this....but they think the problem can be paper whipped into submission.
