anyone seen these? Just came across my first one... WIN marked with ring crimped primer. Who was this made for? FBI or some other military contract maybe?
I know the Coast Guard up this way used 40 in their qualifications. The once fired casings I picked up were F.C. casings, IIRC.anyone seen these? Just came across my first one... WIN marked with ring crimped primer. Who was this made for? FBI or some other military contract maybe?
More like .FC.The once fired casings I picked up were F.C. casings, IIRC.
there was no NT anywhere, just WIN. Also the remington "Leadless" 9mm I've shot had no crimps, and the primers were supposed to be non toxic. And the small primer .45 brass I picked up that supposedly was for NT loads isn't crimped either. but maybe some is.More than likely their non toxic brand.

Some crimps on cases are hard to see and yes they can be pain in the patootieAnd the small primer .45 brass I picked up that supposedly was for NT loads isn't crimped either. but maybe some is.
I'm not disagreeing or anything; just providing info. In any case it's a PITA.
