Gotta rouge coyote on the loose I'm trying to get, but he got this first. Can someone ID? In Kentucky

lol, damn that's what I thought. fur looks like a red fox but skulls throwing me off

Looks like a wolverine but I'd guess a gray fox.

kentucky, rural farm. got a coyote showing itself on my farm in mid day hours, size of a small german shepherd

That skull looks too clean for that fur to have been there the same amount of time. How sure are you that they're from the same animal?

Yeah I kinda thought the same, but I'm sure its the same animal. vertebrae and all were laid out to neatly

Could be a raccoon. I've seen a few with brown instead of gray stripes on the tail.

A fox skull is elongated, a racoon seems more plausible, but it's difficult to tell from that broken skull.

The hair looks like raccoon, the skull has been there alot longer than the hair.

I have seen them get pretty clean pretty quick if you stick them in an ant pile.

Need some better photos of the skull. Teeth would help eye sockets too, maybe with a ruler for Scale.

Looks a lot like a racoon to me with the pattern of the fur.
