Is the armorer willing or capable of doing any custom work on the Springfield? A Mil-Spec has crap GI sights. If it was my choice, if I was allowed to do some customizing, it'd be the Springfield. Followed by the BHP and Glock. 45 ACP is the way to go. A 9mm hollowpoint MIGHT expand, but a 45 won't shrink.
