Cumulative THR Reloading Experience

Started about '60 with my dad. That makes about 48 yrs of rifle (many calibers/cartridges), pistol, and shotgun. Shot compitition trap for several years loading about 15,000 per year. Truth is, until about 4 years ago, I had never purchased a single loaded round of anything but .22 rimfire. I hunt a fair amount, domestically and abroad, and trust my handloads way more than anything commercially produced.
Makes a total of 1945.

i been in and out over the past 30 years, so lets say maybe 5 real years

2023

I started in 1963 and never stopped, so 45 years. I currently load for 27 calibers, and climbing.

That makes 2084 hours total, so far.

Hope this helps.

Fred

This is truly a lot of years of reloading experience. Now I wonder how many rounds per year the average reloader kicks out?

I'm at negative three months (I'm getting my first reloading kit for my birthday in May) so don't count me on the totals BUT I'm marking this thread permanently so I know who to ask for advice when I get stuck!

In "dog years" I've been at it for 210 years.....OK, 30 years....that makes 2140 total.

Oops, that's a different subject, you asked, so you start another thread with the question, "HOW MANY ROUNDS DO YOU LOAD?" I just started one, "How much do you spend?"

Damn cabin fever is in full swing! Another snow storm, then it's gonna get real cold AGAIN!:cuss::banghead::fire:

around 14 years.
Damn, I am getting old.

2180.6 total so far

I can add two years: 1978-1980 with a Lee Loader.

Back in the "hobby" this week with new Lyman T-Mag II- just because 6.5x50 Arisaka ammo is $1/shot. $92 bucks for 4 boxes delivered.

At $500 for the press and all the rest, it's become a matter of principle. Hope I live long enough to break even. :p

total: 2196.6
