Hey, I just got my application for a C&R license in the mail. I have a few questions. First, I am a student and have had a few address over the years, but my parents address has always been my permanent one. Should I still include all the addresses I have lived at? Also, how do you find out the name and address of the appropriate Chief law enforcement officer? Thanks for the replies. I could not find this info when I searched previous threads on the subject.

Use the address where you want the guns to be shipped and which you will use when ordering.

Dealers have been warned of people using unauthorized copies of FFLs and having the guns shipped to a different address.

hobgob, how long did it take them to send you the paperwork? I requested the paperwork online (via a link I found here on THR) two weeks ago and haven't gotten mine yet. Was wondering if I should request it again or if I should just keep waiting.

it took almost 5 weeks to get the application, so im sure yours will come, you just gotta wait a bit

I'm in college and I use my local address and not my parents. I change it every year and everything's worked out fine

I'm going to be applying for my C&R as soon as they get around to sending me the paperwork, and I have a question as well.

I live in a somewhat shady neighborhood, so I never use my physical address for shipping. Instead I have a box at the UPS store, and I have all of my packages delivered there. If a package doesn't fit in the box, they hold it behind the counter. It's much safer this way, because I wouldn't receive my packages if they were delivered to my home address...

So anyway...

How would I go about having the guns shipped to the UPS store (it's not a PO box, it is listed as a "suite #" or "unit #"), since it is not my home address? Is that even possible?
Thank you for any serious responses.

Please avoid any "just move" comments. Thanks.

yup $30 dollars and approval gets you a C&R license which allows you to purchase antique weapons and have them delivered to you. Most dealers will give license holders discounts on other stuff as well, like ammo and mags.
