Hello,
Have not been supporting any firearms rights advocacy groups for several years after being an NRA member. Without conflict what are the suggestions for the best bang for the buck groups that are effective and provide the support gun owners need in today's political climate. Looking for suggestions with maybe some pointers to research them and personal experience and confidence level.
Thanks for any that care to share! Think it is time to start supporting again.

USPS reacts to Court Restoring Second Amendment Rights on Postal Property

By Dean Weingarten. Jan 26, 2024

In January of 2023, a Florida federal district Court restored the right to keep and bear arms on United States Postal Service (USPS) property. The court ruled a statute banning the possession of guns on USPS property, dating from 1972, was unconstitutional under the Second Amendment. [...]

The consensus in previous threads that the "best bang for the buck" to actually get things done for us in the courts has been (in this order)-

Second Amendment Foundation/Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms/Jews for the Preservation For Firearms Ownership
Firearms Policy Coalition
Gun Owners of America

Your state 2A organization does grass roots work and works with state Governors and Legislators that many of us never hear about outside your state. THEY need your support as well.

The best national organizations, IMO, are SAF, GOA, and FPC. Donations to SAF are tax-deductible. These groups have been fighting key legal battles "behind the scenes" with respect to legislation around the nation, both at the national and state levels. They have won some key victories and always continue fighting, unlike many of the "pro-gun" legislators who talk the talk when they're out of power but don't walk it when they're in power.

Thank you for your information. Did the NRA out of habit and will do at least one more.
Is anyone familiar with the anedot payment type?
