I put this fiber optic pin on my Ruger .41 Blackhawk. Since I couldn't remove the front sight myself to put another one on it, I customized it. I cut a groove length wise in the sight with a little cutting disc on a Dremel tool. I cut down to the depth that would allow the top of the fiber optic pin to be level with the top of the sight. I did that so I wouldn't have to resight the gun. The groove was a snug fit, and after tapping it into the slot, I put mixed some black Apoxie Sculpt and filled in the groove over the pin. It sets up hard and matches the gun pretty well.

I was having a little trouble seeing the front sight at sunset and even if I was in the shade. But I can see it now. The pictures are not the greatest, but you can see it pretty good.
