This customer sent me a brand new SFS 9MM FN in polished blue for some work. I stippled the front and back straps, pulled the diconnect and then did some trigger and reliability work. The finished product is shown below. I matted the lower frame and then blued only the lower frame. The combination of the deep blue/black polished slide and the deep blue/black matte frame is striking.

More pics

Ok, here are some more pics with a lighter background and some more light. I think that it shows the color of the pistol better. I just have to keep working on it until I know what shutter speed, light and flash combo works best. I have even thought about building a light box to take the pics with. This will have to do for now

It is indeed striking and no doubt, will!Very nice pistol.

I have a .40S&W Hi Power I might consider sending to ya for the reliability work.It is in stock form and would occasionally FTF.

No, no, no. That's a piece of junk. You should... uhh... send it to me, and I'll dispose of it properly.

Oh, and where did you find that slide stop?

I am not positive but I think that is a Cylinder and Slide Slide stop

That's exactly what I want doing to the SFS 9mm I am currently trying to find.

Are you willing to give an idea of price?

PM if necessary, thanks.

Thanks very much for the kind words. I have edited my sig line to include the email and website, but in case it does not show :banghead:

I am still working on the website and hope to have some better stuff there soon. I am still working on the prices and features of the package guns, but the War & Peace will be either a 1911 or HP with the needed custom work for duty and carry with not a ton of deviataion from the basic working HP or 1911. The Stonghold will be a bit more custom with more changes and features like sights, beavertails, checkering, serrations and so on.

Jess, that is some of the most attractive stippling I have ever seen, VERY nice!!

I'm going to get off this thread as fast as I can as my money is no longer safe in my pocket. darn the beauty of the highpower. Thats some great work

I would love to have your Hi Power and relieve you of some of your extra cash!

I have several prospective 1911s going right now for bobtails and such, but I would LOVE to get another Hi Power or two for some stippling and carry package work. I am running a special on the Hi Power packages right now that include the stippling, designed to your choice, blue or polymer/teflon lower frame refinishing, hammer bob and recontour and trigger work for a very attractive price right now. This will be called for now the War & Peace package as the intent is to turn a standard Hi Power or 1911 into what Col. Jeff Cooper's "Yankee Fist" included. A good trigger, sights you can use, grip and thumb safetys that can used and are useful, something that won't fall out of your hand in the stress of a fight and nothing you don't need. I also like to install a C&S combat trigger and extended safety. Then there are the sights. I can use the standard FN white post sights that are on my HPs with no issue. Seems that most people would like to have either the Hienie's or the Novak's installed. Then there is the options of flat tops, serrations, borders and so on that I don't feel are neccesary on a fighting hand gun but sure makes for a nice looking custom.

Thanks again for all of the nice comments! Makes me want to work even harder on the next pistols coming in for work!
