Hi all,
So today at the Wheaton gun show I saw a box on random gun parts and mags for a dollar a piece and I picked up a part out of curiosity that I was hoping to find a use for.
It looks like an M14 barrel that someone cut down to about 8.5" overall. The chamber and throat area look fine, rifling is sharp, and the muzzle has been re-crowned and looks well done. It was originally a Winchester barrel.
Is there any thing that I can do with this barrel besides using it as a paperweight or a practice piece for gunsmithing?
BTW I know that this barrel is no longer usable on a rifle due to the length but I figured the Rifle forum would be the best place to put it given its origin.
