CVA kentucky pistol flintlock

Do you think that a CVA kentucky pistol kit new in box would be worth $140.00 bucks? W ould it be better to get one that is already put together? Thank you.

With what is out there anymore that seems like a good deal. If you think you would enjoy putting it together go for it. If you think it would be a chore pass. Just beware that finished kits are rarely worth what the finished guns are.

Yes, esp. a flintlock pistol.

CVA kits were entry level, not the finest materials but could be made into good, serviceable guns. They do not require much in the way of skills or tools to finish but with some extra effort they can be quite nice.

If you don't want to get into a kit I would be interested.

I have never messed with a flintlock, but have always liked them. I am just trying to figure out if it is worth the money. Thanks.
