I need a hammer spur for said muzzleloader. It's the earlier Kodiak that doesn't have the threaded hammer for an extension/spur. I see the newer models have a pre-drilled hammer. I can't seem to find a spur for a "round" hammer. Most seem to be for the flat hammers.
? #1-Are the newer model hammers the same other than the threaded hole for a hammer spur.
? #2-Possible to drill and tap original hammer and install spur made for newer model pre-drilled hammers.
I can cock it with no real hassle, but would be nice if i could install a spur for easier cocking in the field.
Any recommendations would be appreciated.
