Cyelee sent me this optic to test. I was skeptical about a $229 optic of this type, but they insisted on an objective review and used the words 'torture test.' After a 4-500 rounds on two different guns and some fairly solid abuse it just keeps working and holds zero. There are things I don't like; the necessary plate mounting system makes it too tall for the co-witness sights, and the sight brightness controls are a bit to easy to hit accidentally but these are quibbles really. It seems like a solid product.

I have a Cyelee CAT thats been on my G3c since Christmas, probably a thousand rounds or so thru it at this point. No battery change, no issues, optical quality is pretty good over all and quite good for the price.

No, it is specific to the mounting plates that comes with it. I did not receive a plate that can attach to a pic-rail.
