With the renewed interest in BHPs, I was disappointed to read last January that Bill Laughridge had decided to retire after a long career and close Cylinder and Slide.

I'm reading now that Laughridge has found two investors who will carry the business forward. Very good there!

I truly hope the quality remains as high as it was. A lot of the time that isn't so. The new owners inevitably cut corners to try to recoup the investment they made and of course the results are the exact opposite.

We can only hope...
