On my Uberti '58 Remington, the bolt is marking a ring around the cylinder. I can see the bolt work perfectly except for the last fraction of an inch of travel in the cylinder rotation, the bolt is coming up early and rubbing on the cylinder, putting a very distinctive mark, almost a groove, around the cylinder. The action is very positive, and it locks in battery very firmly, but that early appearance doesn't seem right.
I haven't tried to completely disassemble this gun yet, but wouldn't know what to look for or how to correct if I had it apart.
Any suggestions?
