Hi,

I just shot my new CZ 452 today and all I can say is WOW! I mounted a Leupold Rifleman 3-9x40 on her and started shooting at a paper plate target at 60 yards (the longest I can shot without going to a range). After a few shots, I made a slight adjustment to the elevation and fired another group. Dang this gun is ACCURATE right out of the box. No adjustments of any kind.

I was so impressed I tossed out a golf ball (and I'm no amazing shooter). One shot, one dead golf ball. Another golf ball, another dead golf ball. I ended up shooting 40 rounds total and just had a darn blast. I had three rounds left, so I decided to have a little MORE fun. So, walked out and carefully placed a quarter on ground. Bang, I hit the old quarter dollar dead center (it could have been a dime). I'm completely amazed by this little rifle. It looks awesome, it's very well made, it shoots awesome, and it has developed quite a following.

After reading some rave reviews of the CZ 452 online, but I kept thinking to myself that I could get a cheaper rifle (ie: savage/marlin) and probably be just as happy. But, after literally looking over all my options, the CZ was just too nice looking a rifle to not purchase. I am thrilled with how it worked out. I would recommend this rifle to anyone that doesn't mind spending a little more on a small caliber rifle. The rumors are true! :)

cheers,
marlboro

Hi, marlboro

Welcome to The High Road!

And welcome to the club - of happy CZ owners. :)

Marlboro, is it a 22? I have two Americans one in the HMR and HM2. Both are excellent.

Be careful how many people you tell about your awesome rifle, they'll start raising their prices to what they're worth! When I got my CZ .22 I had no real experience to compare it to other 22s in regards to group sizes or trigger. I am so happy I didn't buy anything else, I feel exactly like you do.

Reyn,

I got so excited I forgot to mention it's chambered in 17HMR. How would you compare the HM2 with the HMR?

cheers,
marlboro

I have a 452 American in .22, and it is great. The boys over at www.rimfirecentral.com sold me on them, and I am so happy they did.

Good prices can be found at www.whittakerguns.com The prices are right and the shipping is cheap. That's where I bought mine.

The trigger can be much improved with a Brooks kit from www.cz452.com
I installed mine on the kitchen table, and it made a big improvement over the stock trigger.

You have bought a fine rifle. Enjoy!

Another happy CZ owner I see. :)

RFC members are probably sick of seeing this (and everybody else too I suppose), but here's a snapshot of the .22 WMR American I picked up some time back off the used gun rack. JT

I don't have the American but I have the regular 452 Trainer. It is the most awesome .22 I have ever handled. I have shot several one hole groups with it by using a bullet hole as the target and repeatedly just chewing the edges out of it. One of them was nothing more than an oblong hole.:D
Mine just has a $100 bushnell on it but it is like a laser.
Buy one.
