Anyone ever installed one of these kits from Rifle Basix ? Only thing I was concerned about is the dab of epozy on the pins?? and the color of sliver or black? Gold Browing would be nicer? Would this kit give me a full one position trigger with no creep or second pull before the sear release? Would that sear screw stop the second pull or creep in the trigger? I'm going to increase the pull weight today on mine to try and stop the creep?? I'm at 1.48 now, that creep or second pull bugs the xxxx out of me, My RAP 6.5 CM trigger is not like this at all... solid weight clear thru the pull to sear release. Anything else I can do to stop the creep before I change the trigger out completely ? I think my terminology of creep is correct, if not correct me ??
I want a single-stage trigger with full resistance from the start and with full resistance right up to the sear release with no increase in pull weight or any trigger movement before the release.

I make a shim out of metal tubing to put on the front trigger pin to take out the creep. Sometimes I use brass tubing from the hardware store. Sometimes I use a section of an old radio antenna.

I have a friend with a Rifle Basix in a 455. I not impressed.

I bought the Yo Dave Kit and put it in my 452, came out great they also come with great instructions.
P.S Sure is terrible that we have to fix the triggers and magazines on the rifle when they cost so much.

I have shot around 1500 rounds tru the cz 452 and the trigger didn't change, I still had that creep to the full release of the trigger. I installed the yo dave kit today, I used the red sleeve shim and the second strongest spring in the kit to get to 1.3 to 1.5 on the consent pull, no creep at all. I hit it real good thru the changing of springs, I started with the lightest and the second lightest. Both of those would release the trigger. But the third spring did the trick. I think it will be ok in the field. Raining here for the past three days. Can't get to the field when it is this wet, so I can't test the trigger. Man o man it fells great. I screwed the nut /washer up one full turn because it was pulling at about one pound and wasn't tripping after the rubber hammer. I feel better with the 1.3 pounds. Thanks for all the help smile.gif I also sanded down the inside for arm stock so I could fold an piece of typing paper in half and it cleared the stock/barrel. Re sealed the wood. I used a 1/2" 3/8" long socket and wrapped the sand paper around it and it worked great to sand the inside stock and not hit the inside top edge of the stock. Set the torque at 25 in lbs. Ammo is showing up I will sight in with SK Standard and then test the other brands. This retirement thing is Great smile.gif

U are right on that, the Mcarbo spring worked to reduce the pull but, the shim's on yo dave kit were the ticket!!
