I'm thinking about picking up a CZ-52 while they're still cheap and plentiful. I was wondering if anyone knew more about the difference between 7.62x25mm Tokarev and the 7.62x25mm M48 cartridge. This difference was touched on here, and is specifically mentioned in Jane's Gun Recognition Guide by Ian Hogg. There was also another thread discussing whether or not some 7.62x25 ammunition may be too hot for the CZ-52, but if the M48 is supposedly hotter than the Tokarev variation, don't you think hotter loads would be fine?
