It is sure interesting....
If it were all black, it might look OK, but the "CZ" gold sharpie makes it look a little too home made. But not trying to be too critical, I have done much, much worse (I might even post a pic of it, the sawed off red ryder :uhoh:)

Let us know how it holds up because the bonding stuff might be worth a shot on some projects.

I looked at it and I kept hearing something. I looked and looked and I finally found what was making a noise. I left my safe open and my CZ-52 was whimpering.

Looks like you put a lot of work into it. I do hope it shoots good for ya.

It looks like it that ate too many marshmallows and drank way too much Pabst
It looks like I ate too many marshmallows and drank way too much Pabst. I thought I just saw a bloated CZ

That reminds me of the Bergeron baby.

Dem Bergeron have a baby wid' his little t'ing all twist up like a corkscrew. Dem Arcenaux go to visit. Marie, she say, "Toby, you don' say nothin' about his little t'ing -- dem Bergerons feel bad about dat, yeah."

An' Toby, he say, "Don' you talk me like dat! I know how to talk to people!"

An' Marie say, "I'm told you dis, you don' embarass me wid dem Bergerons, no!"

So dey visit dat baby. An' Arcenaux say, "Dat's a fine lookin' boy."

An' Bergeron say, "T'ank you. I t'ink he look like his daddy."

An' Arcenaux put out his finger and dat baby grab it. Arcenaux, he say, "He got a strong grip, yeah."

An' Bergeron say, "I tink he be strong man like his daddy."

An' Arcenaux say, "He got dem cute little eyes."

An' Bergeron say, "Doctor Mouton say he got perfect vision."

An' Arcenaux say, "Dat's good, 'cause he got to aim good wid dat t'ing he got!":D

Kudoos to ya Brigadier!! I know it took a huge amount of man hours to create a pistol that met your specs. I can't even imagine working on the tremendously hard steel of a CZ 52, much less the molding and finishing.

Pard, don't let the bastards get ya down. This CZ 52 is exceptional and my cap's off to ya!

That's pretty special.

While I don't see the application for a beefed-up CZ52, at least you had the gumption to try and do what you wanted with it.

Not the most handsome results, but if it feels better in the hand and performs better for you, good work.

Reminds me of my time in the automotive aftermarket. Your CZ52 is like a '98 Civic DX with a hyper-aggressive body kit still in primer, the fiberglass wing still in the white, and the muffler cocked at an odd angle. At first glance it looks kinda cobbled. If there's a turbo'ed H22 under the hood pushing 350hp to the wheels, well, it's better than one would expect.

For an American car version: That CZ52 looks like a '73 Duster with air shocks, glasspacks, a huge scoop, and the driveshaft painted like a candy cane. But, if it has a 440 under the hood pushing 600hp it's better than one would expect.

Faint praise, I know, but I'm hoping beneath that body kit there's some performance hardware... Best I got...

I would of said I don't like tan framed guns, several years ago. But a local gun store has this yearly sale and I got a H&K USP Tactical in .45. Realy love shooting this gun but guess what it has a tan Frame. It was the only one they had and I just had to have it. So now I like tan framed guns.

I've always thought the cz-52's looked just "wrong" to begin with. I like what you've done to the front end, it gives it a more balanced look. The paint job... well, you're a do-it-yourselfer and it definitely has that quality about it. No doubt, if you did a few more you would improve your paint technique. Not a bad concept, and not terrible execution. I would have liked an OD green paint scheme, but hey, that's just my personal taste.

I hope you get a chance to try this again and refine your technique... it looks like a valid concept to me and with a bit of refinement, who knows?

BTW how well does it group?

Visually, I don't care for it.

Functionally, I can see why you did what you did, and if it's workin' for ya, don't let the naysayers get ya down.

I think it's the tan and blue contrast that I don't care for. But I can see how what you've done could be applied to a gun that I'd like the looks of, and improve the functionality of it, without significantly changing the looks of a gun that I've always liked for its weirdness.

Well done, even if I wouldn't do the same.

I'm going to go hug my 52.

Not my thing, the "bondo" and all, but you obviously had fun and have the gun that you want.

I love it! Man, I swear, half the people here would buy that in a store if it hand brand _____ labeled on the side. Did a great job and I wouldn't mind experimenting on one myself if I had the money to buy one right now. Did you weld a plate on either side of the frame and then fill with molding?

*ETA, If I were to do this I'd probably make the gun as discrete as possible... I have mall ninja dreams I can't help it. Black, no longs, matte finish. Maybe I'll experiment on my kimber.... Don't worry, the kimber part was a joke ; )

i like it.

i would buy it if i seen it for sale,by the way do you want to do me a grip for my fav. little tokarev, its slicker then snot to hold onto.crappy thin factory grips.you gave me some ideas...good job.

Man, that looks like a LOT of work you put in. I think I'd have left it more subdued (the orange and lettering) but the rest looks great! I'm almost sorry I sold off my -52 a few years ago.
Now we need some ACTION pics!
