Always wanted one, and picked it up yesterday from my FFL dealer. Also purchased a 527 rail for it.
Some pics and range results to follow

Some full stock fineness going on there! Perfect proportions and some mighty nice looking wood to go with the blued metal. Thanks for the look and will be awaiting the range report.

She's a beaut. If I ever decide to buy a .223 bolt-action that model will be high on my list.

I think the CZ 527 fs only comes in .223. If you're looking for a full stock rifle in calibers like .243, .270, .30-06, or .308 then the CZ 550 fs would be your choice.

As an owner of a 527 Carbine, I say: Magnificent!

I am envious of your purchase.

Also purchased a 527 rail for it.

Pray, where doth this raille attach to this fyne rifle?

:)

I thought when i asked the question that they came in 222 and 204 and maybe one or two other cartridges in the past, but after a quick search i believe you are right. I have the carbine, which comes in a handful of calibers, but it appears that FS models are only 223. And only recently in a 1:9 twist...

Ifit;

That's a beauty! Most of them shoot very nicely also, but don't be surprised if it takes handloaded ammo to do it.

Short range trip today, only had 2 types of ammo today. Single set trigger is a nice touch to the rifle. Noticed after 5 rounds barrel gets pretty warm, top group was shot with front sight covering green target, lower groups are shot holding st 6 o'clock, barrel was very hot and noticed groups opened up. Gonna load up some Barnes 62 to try out.

Thinking about ordering a rear peep sight

I'm generally not one for wood stocks on rifles, I'm kinda a heathen that way, but that is a VERY handsome rifle. Honestly the one thing that struck me though is how nice it'd be to have that trim little carbine in 300 Blackout.

ifit, that's a great looking rifle you have there. Nicely picked! Those groups make me think the rifle has the potential to shoot as good as it looks too, considering neither of those loads has a reputation for being tack drivers.

With the 1-9" twist I'd be trying either the 69gr or the 52r Nosler match hollow points. Both have shot well for me in 1-8" and 1-7" twist barrels, so you never know which might be worth trying. The 52s in particular work well with below-max charges of ball power (H335 and 748) in .223 Rem. The 69s respond better to stick powders in my experience.

Very nice rifle, I always liked the look of the full stock versions but find them difficult to source here in the UK.

I bought the "bigger brother" some time ago. It's the CZ527 Varmint with kevlar stock. It also has the 1:9" twist for .223. Mine shoots Radway Green surplus 5.56mm quite well (CZ have stated that 5.56mm is suitable for their .223 rifles) but shoots much better with handloads.

69gr SMK seem to shoot the best out of it. I use Reload Swiss RS50 stick powder which is similar to Vihtavuori N140. It also shoots 69gr Lapua Scenar's well, but not quite as good as SMK's. The 52gr SMK's also shoot nicely but I only use these at 100m shooting because the wind has too much effect for any further distance.

I used to have a rail on the rifle but no longer use it. It mounts directly onto the 16(?)mm rail and has a recoil lug that fits into the slot in the rear section of the receiver. I found that even when using low rings the scope was mounted way too high. I had to use a lot of elevation to get the scope on target at 100m due to the high distance from bore axis; I ended up with just 4mrad of elevation left over...

If you do go down the route of scope mounting, make sure you get high enough rings. Not because of the objective bell hitting the barrel, but because the bolt hits the eye piece. I used high Warne 30mm rings for the CZ receiver and have around 2-3mm clearance between the bolt and the eye piece as shown in the second image.

Hope you have great fun with your rifle OP!

Beautiful rifle! I have a CZ 527 carbine in 7.62x39 that I would love to pair with a full stock model.

I also have a full stock 452 in 17hmr that is quite a looker and shooter.

I have the Carbine in .223 and it thinks it's a varmint rifle. Your rifle is a real beauty and a shooter too.

I think CZ is really missing the boat by not chambering the 527 in .300 Blackout and 6.8SPC for small to medium sized game.

The .300blk could be achieved with a barrel change on a .223 model since they share the same bolt face. But for what it's worth, the two calibres you mentioned aren't all that popular in Europe.

The only change needed to chamber 6.5 Grendel would be a barrel swap. The existing x39 magazine and bolt work perfectly.
